大学院を修了してから仕事に復帰して今に至るまで、たくさんの経験を積んできた。このブログで何かを語ったからといって何も解決されないのかもしれないが、自分の考えや疑問を書くことで整理したい。
また、不精な性格ゆえ連絡を怠ってきた私なりに、アメリカをはじめ世界中に散っているであろうかつての学友達に今の自分を伝えるべく、英語教育に関することは英語でも発信していきたい。
ブログを再開するきっかけはある有名な教師がブログに綴った言葉「情報があるから発信するのではない。発信する場に身を置くことが大切なのだ」を読んだからだ。発信するには知らなければならない。発信する場に身を置くことがことが私自身を学ぶことへ向かわせるという意味であろう。この仕事の不可解さを払しょくする役に立てばよいと思う。どのくらい続くかわからないが、今年の新しい試みとしてはじめてみる。

Now, it has been years since I stopped posting on this blog. But I decided to restart blogging.
When it was started, the blog was part of the project we worked on in the course of CALL in my MA. I'm not sure if my problems on my work will be solved by blogging. However, in order to organize my thought on teaching English and being a teacher in Japan, I will use this blog again.
I have been lazy in terms of keeping in touch with friends. I guess now most of my MNSU friends are spreading from the US to a variety of countries. I hope my blog may let them know how I am doing. So I will write both in my language (Japanese) and English. Also, as an English teacher in a non-English speaking country, I need chances to "speak out" in English.
The reason I restart this blog is the words of a famous junior high school teacher of Japanese; "I don't speak up because I have information, but it enables you to do it if you place yourself where you need to speak up." I hope this blogging will help me to be clearer about what is being a teacher. I am not certain how long I can continue to do this, but I will give it a try this new year.
